PHYSICAL THERAPIST-Early Intervention 0-35 months

Waianae Coast Early Childhood Services (WCECS) is seeking full time or part-time Hawaii licensed Physical Therapists (PT) to provide Early Intervention (EI) services to families with infants and toddlers (0-35 months) with developmental delay in the Parent Child Development Centers in Wai'anae, Waipahu and/or Wahiawa. PT must be available to provide in-person services and attend virtual sessions/meetings.

The PT will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing services using Primary Service Provider model and coaching approach to work with families in the home setting.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Conduct evaluations and write reports
  • Assist team with plan development
  • Provide consultations and coaching to families and other team members
  • Timely and accurate documentation
  • Participate in team meetings

Required Qualifications

A Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree and Physical Therapy license for the state of Hawaii.

Access to a personal vehicle to be used for work daily, driver’s license, and proof of insurance, are requirements to be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with infants and toddlers highly preferred.

Word Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, with occasional late afternoon shift or weekend shift required.
  • Manage your schedule allowing for required deadlines, team and staff meetings, and training.
