OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST- Early Intervention 0-35 months

Waianae Coast Early Childhood Services (WCECS) is seeking full time or part-time Hawaii licensed OTs to provide Early Intervention (EI) services to families with infants and toddlers (0-35 months) with developmental delay in the Parent Child Development Centers in Wai'anae, and Waipahu. OT must be available to provide in-person services and attend virtual sessions/meetings.

The OT will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing services using Primary Service Provider model and coaching approach to work with families in the home setting.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Conduct evaluations and write reports
  • Assist team with plan development
  • Provide consultations and coaching to families and other team members
  • Timely and accurate documentation
  • Participate in team meetings

Required Qualifications

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from a school of OT approved by the Council of Medical Education and Hospital of the American Medical Association and by the AOTA
  • Current Hawaii State OT License
  • Current registration with AOTA
  • One year experience in pediatric occupational therapy
  • Access to a car daily and proof of insurance
  • Driver's license

Word Schedule

Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm, with occasional later afternoon shifts and required.
